Our focus for this meeting is on practices for peace and happiness in everyday life. These are the five core practices I describe in my book Suffering Is Optional. Practices give us tools to rely on when strong conditioned patterns take hold and help us to embody our deep love for freedom in the moments of our actual human lives.
With practices, we become conscious, aware, and loving, feeling more connected in our relationships with ourselves and others.
Here are the five core practices:
These practices are like breadcrumbs on the spiritual path to support you in finding your way back from the illusion of made-up, limiting stories to the realization of the truth of your essential self.
Do you want peace and freedom to be your living reality? Do you want to authentically connect with yourself and others? Then practice now with whatever habitual reactions appear. Let every story, emotion, and identity come into the light of awareness so you know exactly how you end up feeling limited and triggered.
You discover that who you are has always been whole, fully alive, and overflowing as love… You discover the freedom to be yourself fully. No longer veiled by conditioning, you’ll expand into spaciousness, fresh responding, and an infinite capacity for love.
In our time together, we’ll unpack these five practices so they feel accessible to all. Through guided meditation, practical guidance, and heartfelt conversation, we’ll open to all that is with kindness and compassion as we find our way home.
Come with your fears, doubts, shame, and questions—and simply to share sacred space together in community with like-minded friends.
Together, we lovingly embrace our humanness as we expand into appreciation, vibrant joy, and deep connection with all of Life.
