“What you resist not only persists, but will grow in size.”
~Carl Jung
Our focus for this meeting is on a compassionate investigation of the human tendency to avoid and resist our experience.
It’s our natural, awakened state to resist nothing. When the illusion of separation is seen through, there’s simply the effortless free flow of experience continually welcoming everything.
There is no threat, no fear, and no sense of a person who needs to avoid or defend.
But add in human reactions, fears, needs, and expectations, and the world starts to feel unsafe. We leave the peace of our true nature to defend, control, and avoid our own experience.
If you want to know the luminous peace of your true nature, then it’s wise to know how and when you resist.
What is resistance? It’s an activity of the agitated mind that says, “no!” to our present moment experience. It’s a desire to cling to some experiences and push others away—a desire for ourselves, others, and the world to be different—because if things were different, then we will finally be at peace.
We recognize ways we avoid and resist with tenderness, as they were needed at some time in the past for protection and safety.
In our sacred time together, we’ll lovingly open to how and why we turn away from our own experience—and the truth of the moment. Why do we resist what is? What is the form of resistance we call spiritual bypassing?
And we’ll invite in the possibility of opening to all that is with infinite openness and curiosity. We end the inner war with our experience as we relax into the peace beyond peace.
All are welcome as we lovingly embrace our humanness…and expand into overflowing appreciation, vibrant joy, and deep connection with all of Life. I look forward to being with you!

Friends are saying:
“I am now experiencing longer moments of pure awareness and joy. No longer a slave to external circumstances and inner chatter. Loving life the way it is.” ~Susan R.
“I liked the sense of trust, profound acceptance, safety, unconditional love and support that Gail brought to us. “Your work is a bridge between practical daily life and Supreme Reality.” ~Henrique N.
“You radiate such warmth, kindness, beauty and wisdom. I had been stuck for so long and by listening to your sage advice, am finally starting to see and feel the light. Your light helps us to shine our own.” ~Julie Desmarais
“At any moment, within the field of your own experience, there is an inner sanctuary of presence and stillness. You access this space by shifting your attention away from the jumble of thoughts, feelings, stories, fears, and external input such as others’ opinions. You simply turn inward—beyond all mind movement—and be.
In no time at all, you find the ground of being, the light of living vibration that’s here in every moment. It’s timeless, which means it’s eternally present, and all-embracing as the unity of all. Don’t be afraid of this vast love. Fall into its arms…”
